Isthmus Writing Workshops are structured courses that are designed to deepen your skills in the craft of creative writing and help you find community with other writers! The skills you gain here will give you the foundations you need to establish a regular writing workshop group that will help you grow as a writer and stay consistent. 

 

Each session will allow you to create new work and bring in and edit existing work. The course will offer formal instruction on reading like an editor, and teach you how to offer and receive constructive workshop-style feedback. 

 

The workshops are available to ALL experience levels and writing genres, with the feedback tailored to each student individually. They are safe and inclusive spaces where we do not judge each other's writing, but instead learn to work collectively to understand and help bring each other's visions to life!
